Deputy Commissioner Peren, Hiazu Meru convened a meeting to discuss matters relating to the upcoming Unity Mini Hornbill Festival at Peren district. The meeting was held at conference hall D.C. Office new district headquarter Peren on 14th November 2024.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Peren, Hiazu Meru and discussed the upcoming Unity Mini Hornbill Festival which is scheduled in the month of December 5-7 this year.

In the meeting the house discussed a ceremony programme with the Tribal Hohos and resolved to organise indigenous games like Tug of war, Air gun shooting, strongest man competition, Flower Show. Bamboo stilt walking. Catapult shooting and Chicken yarn making. In the meeting Deputy Commissioner also highlighted activities to improve in the district headquarter area, and encouraged young people to ply passengers taxi from Jalukie, Peren to district headquarter Office.
