The monthly District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Phek meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman, DPDB Phek, Rhosietho Nguori, NCS at DC's Conference Hall on 8th August 2025.
The members discussed the confronting challenges on drug abuse, for which the House pledged a commitment for making Phek district free from drug abuse. The meeting deliberated on the agenda for construction of washrooms at ITI, Phek and purchase of ambulances for District Hospital, Phek and for Community Health Centre, Pfutsero for which the house agreed to recommend it to the government for consideration. The House further entrusted the District Hospital authorities to approach organizations, such as Hans Foundation to explore the possibility of providing Ambulance services.
District Agriculture Officer (Department of Agriculture) and District Sericulture Officer (Department of Sericulture) highlighted their departmental activities through power point presentations at the meeting.
Newly posted officers, namely, District Sericulture Officer, Melino Neikha, SDO (Water Resources), Er. Pashin, OC, Fire & Emergency Services, Huvekho Yhobu and Sub-Treasury Officer, Pfutsero, Kikhruseba Senotsi were introduced and welcomed during the meeting.
