The Monthly DPDB meeting for Phek was held on 12th November 2024 at DPDB hall, Phek under the chairmanship of Advisor and Chairman DPDB, Phek, Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe. Addressing at the meeting, the chairman acknowledged his sincere gratitude to the Government of Nagaland, Legislators of Phek district led by Minister for Power & Parliamentary Affairs, K.G Kenye, DPDB members and leaders of Chakesang Public Organization (CPO) for supporting and successfully upgraded Meluri as a full-fledged District.

DC Phek, John Tsulise Sangtam also expressed his happiness for the newly upgraded Meluri as district, and congratulated the people of Meluri and their representative. John Tsulise also gave instructions to all the heads of the district offices that all official matters, activities for Meluri district will continue to be taken care from the District offices at Phek Headquarter until establishment of all the required offices are set up in Meluri district accordingly. 

The board also discussed and recommended the agendas for creation of District Child Protection Office, Establishment of Sakhi One Stop Centre and Establishment of Observation Home at newly upgraded Meluri district. 

The District Statistical Officer and Station Superintendent of Nagaland State Transport, Phek presented their departmental activities at the meeting.
