Awareness program on Prime Minister's Employment Generation Program (PMEGP), Financial Literacy Camp (FLC) & Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme ( EAP ) was conducted at DC's Conference Hall, Kiphire on 16th September 2024 for socio economic development and upliftment of individuals in particular and District in general.
The programme was chaired by Vitsumong Y, Credit Coordinator SCK (Swavalamban Connect Kendra's) Kiphire, where he gave an introduction about the work profile of ( SCK ) in the district and started the session with opening remarks from Takatemjen Pongen, EAC Kiphire HQ & Nodal Officer SCK, Kiphire where he encouraged to all the members in the house to have proper planning and strategy before they start their business. He also assured to help any individuals to his best possible in case of his needs.
Awareness about the PMEGP was shared in detail by Veswuvo Phesa Functional Manager District Industry Centre where he talked about eligibility criteria and who can apply for this scheme. He also assured that he will give his full cooperation to any individual for the successful and productive implementation of this program.
Financial Literacy Camp ( FLC ) and Entrepreneurship Awareness program ( EAP) were taken over by T.Thripili Sangtam, Centre Manager SCK Kiphire,where he stressed more on the management of budgeting and business for problem - solving in our locality. Thripili also encouraged the house to be entrepreneurial in nature where we should be a job creator instead of job seekers. And lastly, open discussion was open in the program to clarify doubts and ended fruitfully.
