In view of the upcoming inauguration of the new Administrative Complex at Pughoboto, MLA & Chairman, SDPDB Pughoboto, Dr Sukhato A Sema chaired the monthly SDPDB Meeting on October 8, 2024 at DB Hall, ADC Office, Pughoboto. 

ADC & Vice Chairman Tiameren Chang reviewed the progress of the various working committees constituted for the inauguration program of the new Administrative complex scheduled on 16th October 2024 and pressed for all necessary arrangements to be completed on time. 

Taking into consideration the low rate of enrolment at Government Higher Secondary School(GHSS) Pughoboto, Chang also briefed the house about Sponsorship of students of class 8 and above to improve school enrolment. The Chairman and Vice Chairman SDPDB declared sponsorship of class 11 and class 12 students and encouraged other board members to extend sponsorship of other students. 

Principal GHSS Pughoboto, Khekaho Achumi highlighted the introduction of the new school Subject ‘Electronics’ which is to be introduced from class 9 onwards from the next year 2025. He also urged the student bodies to help disseminate the importance of the subject to the student community as it will help students learn and develop vocational skills.
            The chair introduced two new members to the House, Junior Soil Conservation Officer (Department of Soil & Water) Jemutoka and Child Development Project Officer (Department of Social Welfare), P Khozao Konyak.

The meeting ended with a mass prayer for the success of the forthcoming inaugural program.
