A programme on Relocation of Namsang EAC Head Quarter from Kongshong to Yonglok Area was held at Yonglok village Community Hall, Longleng on 12th January 2026 with Chief Minister, Dr. Neiphiu Rio as the Honoured Guest. 

Dr. Neiphiu Rio in his addresses said that the decision to relocate the Extra Assistant Commissioner Headquarters of Namsang Circle from Kongshong to Yonglok under Longleng district was taken in response to the long standing public representations and with the objective of strengthening administrative outreach. Rio commended the people of Namsang for their active role in shaping the area’s development and expressed hope for continued growth, harmony and prosperity s the region embraces new opportunities.
