The launching program of Satellite OST Centre at PHC Chessore Town under Shamator District was held on 23rd August, 2025 at Chessore town under the Office of CMO, Tuensang. The centre was inaugurated by K. Tsusola, Associate Pastor Women, Chessore Town Baptist Church.

Dr. Kumrimong Yimchunger MO, Chessore PHC said addiction to opium is not an addiction of body in general but rather an addiction of mind and mental health and encouraged the community to join hands in making our society, a society of acceptance, where we don't judge but rather lend a helping hand to the addicted individuals that needed help. He expressed his sincere gratitude to CMO Tuensang and his team for bringing up the historic landmark development in an area where basic needs were far neglected for a long time. Kumrimong also encouraged the people of Chessore Block to make the best use of the OST centre and assured that his team and staff are ready to help and serve at any given point of time for the upliftment of the society and the addicted.

Dr. Senilo Magh, Psychiatrist and Nodal Officer (OST), DH Tuensang also imparted the importance of helping the people in need and overcoming their challenges.

Short speeches were also given by Zhelo, Village Council Chairman, Chessore; Lakiumong, Head DB, Chessore Town, and Chuba, President of Chessore Town Public Forum.

A welcome address was proposed by Chongshen C Chang, DPO DAPCU, Tuensang, and the program concluded with a vote of thanks from Chongtin Sumao, Lab Technician, PHC Chessore.
