Mon Town Council organised Mon Town ward Seminar on Cleanliness and Health Care on 12th June 2025 at Konyak Union Office. Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Wennyei Konyak, NCS graced the programme as a special guest. He expressed his gratitude to the organiser for organising this seminar which is in a very needful time. He also thanked the participants for participating and requested them to implement practically and improve our health.  He also appeals to maintain own compound and work together for our own benefit. He also launched the waste management theme song by Kids Version, Mon Town.

Horticulture Inspector, Chingak PW Konyak and DVBPO, Dr. Aben were the resource persons of the seminar.  The Topics for the first session was “ Solid Waste management & Training on Composite Pit” and  Second Session topic was “Vector Borne Diseases & Prevention”.

ADC & Administrator, Mon Town Council, Pakon Phom, NCS while delivering the welcome address expressed his gratitude to all the wards for their active participation in cleanliness in town. He encouraged them to learn something new from this seminar.

The programme was chaired by Wanle Nekong, LDA MTC. KNSK Wagiem Ward performed a Cultural song. Invocation was pronounced by the District Chaplain. Vote of Thanks by President, All Ward Union Mon Town, Y. Pongba.
