Shamator District Planning & Development Board meeting was held on 9th April 2025 at DBs court, Shamator under the chairmanship of Advisor for Youth Resources & Sports and Chairman DBDP, S Keoshu Yimchunger. The meeting started with review of previous meeting minutes and stressed on the day’s agendas.
The board discussed the transfer of Tsuthu Village, Pungrunger Village, Huhdanru Village, Rurrur Village and Shungkiu Village under Yimkhiung Villages to Shamator Headquarter. Construction of Police Stations at Sotokur and Chessore. Construction of BDO office and Staff quarter at Shamator. Renewal of Shamator Community Development Project Society (SCDP). Proposal for establishment of various departmental offices in the district, and organising Inter Departmental tournament in the district was approved and forwarded to the concerned department for final approval by the government.
Chairman in his closing remarks directed all HoO’s to be stationed and appreciated all members for their active participation.
