Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, S. Phangnon Konyak, launched the District Level Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivaar Abhiyaan, at CHC, Tizit, Mon, on 17th September 2025.
Addressing the gathering, the MP highlighted the purpose and objectives of Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivaar Abhiyaan and encouraged community leaders to create awareness so that all targeted citizens can benefit from the initiative. She further stated that the NDA government at the centre under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Modi has been introducing various welfare schemes for the upliftment of its citizens. Urging everyone to actively participate and avail the benefits, Phangnon remarked that taking care of one’s own household is also a form of nation building.
Short speeches were also delivered by SDO (C), Tizit, Tumben Tsanglao and Chairman, HCMC, CHC, Tizit, Penkham.
Surveillance Worker, CHC, Tizit, Alih chaired the programme. Invocation was pronounced by Pastor, TTBC, Wennyei Konyak, while welcome address and vote of thanks was delivered by DPO CD II, Mon, Dr. Ngopelo Keviechu and MO, CHC, Tizit, Dr. Taliwati, respectively.
On the occasion, Health Camp was also set up at CHC, Tizit, to provide consultation and services to the public.
Before the District Level Launching programme, the gathering also joined the National Level Virtual Launching of Swasth Nari Parivaar Abhiyaan by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
