Deputy Commissioner of Zunheboto, Dharam Raj, IAS along with the Head of Office, Zunheboto, virtually attended a video conference held at the State Emergency Operation Centre, Capital Convention Centre, Kohima, as part of the Table Top Exercise organised by the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority under the Home Department.
The exercise was conducted as part of the 8th edition of the Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx) 2026, which is scheduled to be held on April 30, 2026.
The large-scale mock exercise is being organised by the NSDMA with support from the National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
This year’s simulation will focus on earthquake and extreme weather disaster scenarios, with the objective of strengthening the state’s preparedness, coordination, and emergency response capabilities.
