A training programme on sustainable and ecological Fish Farming Practices was conducted on 28th May 2026, at Mongchemla Community Training Centre, Longleng. A total of 26 Fish Farmers attended the training.

AFI, Imnaienla Nokdir emphasized on eco-friendly aquaculture methods, composite fish culture, pond management, fish health and integrated farming systems.

Addressing the participants, DFO Longleng, Sangponochet, encouraged the farmers to adopt sustainable and eco-friendly fish culture practices, highlighting their importance for long term livelihood security and conservation.

The training generated strong interest among the farmers, who expressed readiness to implement eco-certified practices and collaborate with the department for technical support.
