A six-day intensive training programme for Census 2027 for the enumerators and supervisors commenced at the Shamator District Headquarters on 8th June 2026. The training, which will conclude on June 13, aims to equip the field workforce with the necessary skills and knowledge for the upcoming national census.

            Deputy Commissioner of Shamator, Arikumba, NCS, in his inaugural address, emphasized the critical importance of accurate data collection, noting that the census forms the bedrock for future developmental planning and policy-making.

            A total of 165 trainees, comprising 25 supervisors and 140 enumerators are participating in the week-long training.
