The monthly meeting of the DPDB Tseminyu was held on 18th September 2025 in the DC’s Conference Hall, Tseminyu, under the chairmanship of Vice-Chairman, DC Tseminyu, Japheth Woch. Before the meeting, the newly posted officers, DESO (Economic & Statistics) Department, Theyieneinuo Belho and Manager (Bank of Baroda), Athew Enah introduced themselves and the House warmly welcomed them.
It was followed by the review the previous meeting’s minutes. During the meeting, the House approved registration of New society of Tseminyu District Differently Abled Person Union (TDDAPU). The house also discussed the urban waste disposal which is facing many hurdles to improve the waste management for which a proper site is required for the disposal of waste, and the Tseminyu Town council was asked to look into the matter. The House also informed that the District will host an RTI program on 10th October 2025 at Tseminyu Town Hall. The house further discussed on installation of CCTVs in all the Office and approached the government for approval.
The House unanimously agreed to declare Tseminyu District as a Piggery District and decided that the Administration in coordination with the officers from the District Committee would formulate an action plan, and present it in the next DPDB meeting.
