Women for tree campaign- Amrut Mitra initiative, under the District Urban Development Agency, Phek with a local Self Help Group, Muho SHG of Phek town conducted its first phase exposure visit to the under construction site in CMHSS Compound at Phek town, the identified plantation site on 22nd May 2025. 

The visiting team was led by Asst Urban Development Officer, Phek, Er. Kesoweu, who said that a total of 150 trees are scheduled to be planted during the coming plantation drives in and around the said Park under construction in CMHSS Compound, Phek). 

The Women, acting as Amrut Mitras Or "friends of the trees" will take charge of caring each saplings- ensuring regular watering, protection and monitoring of growth, Kesoweu said.
