The District Hub for Empowerment of Women, under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative and successfully organized a one-day crochet making workshop for girls in Niuland on 30th April 2025. The event aimed to empower young girls with vocational skills and promote self-reliance.

EAC, Kelengunuo Solo addressed the participants and presented certificates to the 20 enthusiastic girls who attended the workshop. The President of Sumi Totimi Loka, Niuland graced the occasion along with his colleagues adding to the event's significance.

This initiative underscores the commitment to nurturing talent and fostering independence among young women in the district.
