In connection with the Good Governance week commencing from 19th to 24th December 2024, a workshop on Good Governance Day was held at DC’s conference hall, Kiphire on 21st December 2024
Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer, NCS welcomed and addressed the gathering officers during the meeting-cum-workshop program, while DHEW Coordinator, Villiho Awomi spoke on women related schemes, and Nodal officer of CMHIS-PMJAY, Yangtsapila spoke on insurance scheme. Assistant Supply Officer for Food & Civil Supplies Department, Renthungo spoke on ration, and EAC (Dev) Takatemjen Pongnen spoke on different schemes and programmes of the state and central government through PowerPoint presentation.
The DPA (Education) Kiphire, Alumse also presented PowerPoint presentations on the development activities being undertaken by the NECTAR projects in the district, and the EAC, Nitile Tep who is also the APIO presented on grievances redressal and RTI mechanism. The district administration, Rural Development Department, Education and Medical department also presented their activities. This was followed by a question-and-answer session.
Longtiba L Sangtam, ADC Kiphire delivered the vote of thanks, while the EAC Kiphire, Zavito Ltu chaired the program. The program was held under the directives of the department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension, Government of India.
