One Day workshop on Viksit Nagaland @2047 for Tuensang District was held on 17th April 2026 at Town Hall, Tuensang organised by the Department of Planning and Transformation.

            Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa in her short note stated that Viksit Nagaland @2047 is a road map of the Government of Nagaland under taking for a comprehensive planning to formulate Vision @2047 for the grassroots development of the State and inclusive growth of our country. She added that it's a platform for the stakeholders to study the shortcomings that were missing in the past and identify the challenge and make improvements or suggestions which will benefit the people of the district. The DC said through this workshop we can put forward the loopholes that we face in implementing inclusive growth, multi sectoral perspective, diagnose systemic gaps and visionary targets for 2030, 2038 and 2047 as short, medium and long-term measures.

            During the workshop, participants were structurally divided into five thematic core Sectoral Working Group (SWG) pillars, were discussed and presented key challenges and put forward the strategy under Economic Development, Social Development, Environmental sustainability, Infrastructure Development, Governance and Infrastructure strengthening. The workshop was attended by HoDs, NGOs and Civil Societies from the district.
