World Soil Day 2024 was Celebrated at ECS Conference Hall, Tuensang on 5th December 2024, on the Theme ' Caring for Soil: Measures, Monitor, Manage' organised by Soil and Water Conservation Department, Tuensang in collaboration with Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) and Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Tuensang.

Speaking on the events, DSCO & PD ATMA, Dr. Alika N. Zhimo requested the farmers to make the best use of the Training by learning about Soil health card and sustainable management of soil and also share their Traditional practice that will be beneficial to the farmers.

The programme was chaired by Dr. Toshimenla DPDB ATMA and application of Micro nutrients was demonstrated by Mayalepden Lemtur, Ranger and Sentimongba Sangtam SCA, while soil health management was done by Samuel, ACTO (Agronomy) KVK. Vote of thanks was delivered by Wetosangla. ATM Noksen Block.

The Campaign highlights District Level Training on Soil Health Card and interaction with Students, Farmers, Scientists and also conducted Quiz and Essay Competition.
