Kithagha Student Union (KSU) organised a mass social work cum launching of plastic pollution free campaign in observance of world environment day 2025 with the theme "Ending plastic pollution", with this theme, the KSU in collaboration with Tseminyu District Green Initiatives has launched a plastic pollution free campaign (phase -1) at Kithagha Student Union & Kithagha Service & Pensioners Association multi- utility Building Chulikha on 5th June 2025.

During the program, Deputy Commissioner Tseminyu, Japheth Woch was the special guest and delivered the keynote address. Woch said a united movement aimed at reducing plastic waste, promoting sustainable habits and engaging in mass social work to clean the surroundings. The program was chaired by president KSU, Jesenlo Seb, while short speech was delivered by president Kithagha Public Organisation, Peter Seb and Zukeya Woch convenor KUBC-CF & DC and co-convenor, Tseminyu District Green Initiatives (TDGI).
