In a noble gesture, the Ao Baptist Church Association (ABAM), Impur has stepped up in shouldering responsibility by allowing the use of facilities at Impur to set up quarantine centre and also to provide food for the returnee from outside the state.

Executive Secretary ABAM, Rev. Dr. Mar Atsongchanger said that the quarantine centre at Impur would accommodate 200 people. He said ABAM has earmarked a budget of Rs. 17 Lakhs for running the quarantine centre for which the churches has come forward to contribute towards the ABAM COVID-19 Relief Fund.

Mar Atsongchanger said that returnees who come to Impur must think that they are coming home, for apart from providing food and lodging we take this as an opportunity to extend love and care in practical towards humanity.
