Advisor to Chief Minister and Chairman Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), Abu Metha flagged off 'Bee & Honey Trails to Mima Village' at Kisama, Heritage Village on 29th November 2023 organized by the Nagaland Beekeeping & Honey Mission (NBHM).

Speaking at the flagging-off ceremony, Abu Metha said that Honey is a God's gift to humankind. Honey cannot be spoiled even in a thousand years. He also said that bees’ plays a important role not just in our dietary plans but also to keep the ecological balance of nature. He further emphasized that Nagaland being one of the biological hotspots of the world, it is important that we understand beekeeping culture to preserve and promote these sectors not only for economy but for preservation of our nature and our rich biodiversity as a whole.
