The Management Committee under Block Task Force on COVID-19 Chozuba Sub-division, Phek held an emergency meeting on 14th may 2021 at ADC’s Office Chozuba and deliberated on COVID-19, total lockdown and the measures to contain the virus.

The following orders have been issued for strict compliance in the interest of public safety:

1. Lockdown comes into effect from 6pm 14 may till 21st may 2021.
2. Wearing of face mask, washing of hands/sanitizers and social distancing to be strictly fallowed by all. Action will be taken against the defaulters.
3. The public are hereby informed that non-essential travels are prohibited. No movement of vehicles to be allowed in the town expect for medical and those vehicles permitted by the government and no movement permit will be issued henceforth.
4. Only vegetables, fish/meat, bakery, local grocery and petrol pump will be permitted to open from 6:00 AM to 12:00 noon every day. All the shops have been directed to provide hand sanitizers hand washing facilities outside their shops. Only one customer will be entertained at a time. 
5. Hotels, educational institutions will remain closed.
6. Agriculture and construction activities will be allowed. But bringing of new labourers from outside are prohibited.
7. All political/social/religious/academic gathering etc are hereby barred expect solemnization of marriages with prior permission and funeral with a ceiling of 20 persons.
8. The general public have been requested to co-operate with the authorities.
