In a circular, the ADC Longleng, Thungchanbemo Tungoe NCS, has informed that the admission to class IX at PM SHRI School, and JNV Longleng for the academic session 2027-28 through the Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST), is scheduled to be conducted on 10th April 2027 (Saturday).

The last date for online registration is 30th September, 2026. The registration is to be undertaken online through the official Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti portal. In this regard, the DEO/Sr. SDEO, Longleng, is requested to circulate the information to all Government, Government-aided and private schools under Longleng District and issue necessary instructions to facilitate and encourage maximum registration of eligible students within the stipulated time.

The Area Administrative Officers (AAOs) are requested to disseminate the information through the respective Village Councils within their jurisdictions, with instructions to inform eligible students and parents and encourage them to register for the LEST within the prescribed timeline.

All concerned are requested to make concerted efforts to ensure maximum registration of eligible students, so that the available vacant seats in Class IX may be filled through the said admission process.
