The newly appointed Advisor for Information & Public Relations and Village Guard, S. Keoshu Yimchunger visited the Directorate of IPR, Kohima, and held a meeting with the officers on 16th February 2022.

In his address, Keoshu briefly highlighted his biography and the journey he has been through earlier working in the School Education department. He narrated that he and Late Toshi Wungtung, the former Advisor of IPR belong to the same village, and he believes that him being appointed again as the Advisor of IPR is God’s plan to accomplish the works the Late Advisor had left behind. He said he has come to the Department not as a boss but as a family member, “I am the Advisor, but you should advise me as we take the department forward even if it's for a few months” he added. He sought cooperation and expressed the desire to work together as a family.

Director IPR, Er. Z. Tokishe Sema, while welcoming the Advisor, said the officers and staff of the Department will extend full cooperation to him. The Director briefly explained the history of the IPR Department, staffing pattern, different departmental sections, and the gist of activities undertaken by the Department and the tasks ahead.
