In view of the rapid surge in the number of Covid-19 cases in the State, DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS on 27th April 2021, issued the following advisory to be implemented by the Village and Ward Task Force under Mon District:

1. The Village and Ward Task Force should maintain a list of all the returnees from other States and report to Distract Task Force/Sub-Divisional Task Force every week. 
2. Returnee/Traveller who produces a negative report of Covid-19 test done not earlier than 3 (three) days prior to arrival in the District shall be exempted from quarantine. The returned/traveller should carry the soft/hard copy of the negative test report and produce it whenever asked by the competent authority. 
3. Every returnee or traveler without the negative test report as mentioned above and asymptomatic will undergo quarantine for 10(ten) days.
