A meeting of core committee under the Chairmanship of Agriculture Production Commissioner, Y Kikheto Sema, IAS to take stock of drought like situation in the State will be held at the Secretariat conference hall on 15 July 2021 at 11:00 AM. 

The meeting will deliberate on issues such as interventions taken so far by the departments in the affected areas, creation of water bodies, check dams, rejuvenation of pond and streams etc., formulation of plans for early seeds distribution and alternate livestock rearing and field visit by the Core Committee/official to the effected farm area.

During the meeting the Agriculture, Horticulture and AH & Vety. services, Fisheries & Aquatic Resources and Land Resource Department will present PowerPoint presentations (10 minutes each) with pictures of affected farm areas and Departments interventions.

All core committee members have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.
