As notified by the Department of Urban Development, Government of Nagaland, ADC & Administrator, Pfutsero sub-division informed that an intensive cleanliness drive was held at Pfutsero town on 26th February 2022 and the assessment of wards for Cleanest ULB/cleanest ward will commence from 1st March to 31st March 2022.

Some of the following criteria as notified are:

1. All the wards should be 'Garbage Free'
2. All the wards should be 'Plastic Free'
3. All the drains (nullas)/streets in respective wards need to be cleared
4. Cleaning of respective house compounds and surroundings
5. Traders to clean their respective vicinity
6. Innovative practices adopted by the wards in waste management

Likewise, all the Government Departments have been directed to conduct cleanliness drives in their respective office premises.
