Kiphire District Administration in collaboration with line departments held the Awareness- Cum- Sensitisation Camp on Chief Minister's Micro-Finance Initiative ( CMMFI) on

13th December 2022 at the DC's conference hall at Kiphire.

Addressing the local entrepreneurs and SHGs, DC Kiphire Wati Aier said that the CMMFI scheme announced a few months ago by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in presence of CM Nagaland, and is being implemented by AGRI and Allied departments requires no documents like patta or guarantor and easier for the beneficiaries to avail the loan. He also said that the Heads of Offices of concerned departments have been informed to assist the beneficiaries while applying for the forms.

During the programme, PowerPoint presentations were given by Fishery, Veterinary, Industry, Agri, NRSLM, and Horticulture, followed by a short interaction.
EAC Kiphire Ane Hhieya said that the scheme is new and therefore more awareness programme will be organized in the future, and she also informed the interested individuals, beneficiaries, and entrepreneurs to look up the website for CM microfinance, for more information updates on this scheme.
