AWARENESS ON LIVELIHOOD GENERATION AND EDUCATION UNDER BBBP HELD AT WOKHA

In continuation with the Beauty with a purpose Project Phase- 2 of Miss Nagaland 2019, Wokha District Administration and DLCW-MSK under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao in collaboration with Beauty and Aesthetic Society of Nagaland organized an awareness programme on Livelihood Generation and Education on 15th December 2020 at DC conference hall, Wokha.

Speaking at the event, Miss Nagaland 2019, Vikuonuo Sachü, shared her experiences of working with the local farmers especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She talked on the demands of local product by the people of Nagaland and how one time she felt like taking up the profession of farming because of the returns in terms of self-satisfaction and financial gain. Keeping aside the positive aspect of farming, she also emphasized on the hardship faced by local farmers especially during the COVID-19 Pandemic. She encouraged the participants to buy locally produced product to motivate them to carry on with their farming as without farmers to feed us Nation will not be able to survive.

Arhonbeni Ezung, EAC (P), on behalf of Wokha District Administration and DLCW-MSK welcomed Miss Nagaland 2020 and her team to Wokha and also thanked her for taking such kind of initiatives as a representative of youth of Nagaland. She encouraged them to continue with their good work and spread their message of positivity to the people and youth of Wokha District. The programme ended with a vote of thanks from Grace Ezung.
The programme was chaired by Libeni Ezung. Staff of Entrepreneurs Associates of Nagaland, Limasenla, appraised the participants on the various projects and outcome of their association.
