An awareness programme in commemoration of 75th years of India’s independence, was conducted by the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) on Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Tuberculosis (TB) and Blood Donation, under the aegis of National AIDS Control Organisation, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Govt. of India, was held on 23th November 2021 at St. Joseph’s College Jakhama.
Addressing the programme, District AIDS Prevention and Control Unit (DAPCU) Kohima, Sentimongla Tzudir, District Program Officer, briefed on the prevention, causes and treatment for HIV/AIDS.
Dr.Akaba Jamir District TB Officer and Avilie Sekhose Assistant Director (SIMU) NSACS also spoke on TB Mukh Bharat Abhiyan and importance of Blood Donation respectively.
