An awareness programme on Election, organised by IQAC Immanuel College, Dimapur with the Theme "A vote can be great or it can be a threat", was held at Immanuel College Auditorium on 20th February 2023.

Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Sachin Jaiswal said all state government officials are functioning in this Election Commission of India. He assured that direction is implemented in true spirit and for a free and fair election, a lot depends not only on the administration and election machinery but the voters too. He urged the citizens to come forward and vote to fulfill their democratic rights. DC noted that young voters are the prime voters who have the right to vote for their future. He stated that people who fail to vote, lose the right to complain. He encouraged the gathering to take the opportunity to fulfill this important responsibility.

Earlier, Principal, Immanuel College Th. Shartchandra Singh delivered the welcome address. The program was chaired by Asst. Prof. & Asst. IQAC Coordination Serfudin Ali.
