In continuance with the Civic Action Programme (CAP) the B/173 BN, CRPF organized a Water Storage Tank distribution programme on 18th Dec. 2020 at Mokokchung.

 Commandant 173 BN, CRPF, Vishnu Goutam gave away the water tank to the beneficiaries in presence of 2nd IC W. Somananda, chairman and village Council member of Chuchuyimpang, principal and students of Fazl Ali College. Altogether 28 nos of water storage tank were distributed to the beneficiaries from Chuchuyimpang & Mokokchung village and Fazl Ali College.

Delivering a short speech the Commandant reiterated that para-military forces are carrying out Civic Action programmes so as to foster better understanding and co-operation with the public.

In his keynote address Asst. Commandant Vandemo Ovung said the idea to distribute water storage tank came up taking into consideration the water scarcity during dry season and the need to have proper water storage.

Vote of thank was proposed by chairman Chuchuyimpang village council Repatemsu Jamir.
