The Celebration of Bijlee Mahotsav was held at Leangtsuwong, Shamator under the theme "Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya" Power@2047 with Deputy Commissioner Shamator, Thsuvisie Phoji as the special guest.

The Deputy Commissioner expressed gratitude to the Power department for coming all the way long to Shamator to educate with visual aids and other arrangements. He urged the public to use power judiciously as it is one of the most important essential needs in today's world.

Welcome speech was delivered by President Leangtsuwong, Chilimong and a short speech was given by Er. Alemwati, Sr. Manager NEEPCO Ldt. & District Nodal Officer, Power. A cultural presentations was performed by Leangtsuwong ward and short films on universal household electrification, Village Electrification etc. were shown. The programme was chaired by SDO(C) Shamator, Bodi Kapfo while vote of thanks was proposed by Er. Suralo, Executive Engineer, Power Department Tuensang Nagaland.
