The district administration along with district Youth Resources & Sports Department conducted a bike rally on 13th of August 2021 in commemoration of 75 years of Indian Independence Day celebration.

The Frontier Royal Enfield En-block (FREE) participated in the national flag bike rally starting from clock tower covering all the town road. The Youth Resources & Sports Department also organized a basketball exhibition match at Loyem Memorial Ground to mark the celebration. All wards and institutions and offices also conducted a mass cleanliness drive to mark the same.
