A block futsal tournament cum fete day for sensitization on Bati Bachao Beti Padhao was organized by the Tening Town Western United Club in collaboration with Tening Block Task Force on BBBP at Tening Town on 22nd February 2022 under the theme "Save the girl child & educate her".

Additional Deputy Commissioner Tening, Rhosietho Nguori appreciated the organizers and other departments for taking the initiatives collectively to uplift the youngsters through sports. He also spoke on the importance of parenting and encouraged the gathering to ensure the education and participation of every child in various activities.

He urged all the teams taking part to do their best and declared the tournament officially open in the presence of the organizing committee and others officials.

A short speech was also delivered by M.O, CHC, Dr. Menangtongzuk, and a representative from NYKS. The program was chaired by EAC, Tumben P Tsanglao while the vote of thanks was pronounced by Wintatlu Domta of Western United Club.
