ICDS Jalukie Project under the Department of Social Welfare, Peren organised Block Level Poshan Panchayat at Women Welfare Conference Hall, Jalukie Town on 2nd April 2022.

ADC Jalukie, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang spoke on the role of panchayat and encouraged the local leaders to disseminate awareness on health and nutrition at the block level.

Meanwhile, BDO Tening, Kiengau explained the importance of rainwater harvesting as a sustainable process that helps in preserving water. Stating that scarcity of water has become a significant cause of concern, he encouraged the local leaders to conserve water.

The program was chaired by LDA, DPO Office Peren, Isapheing Hegwang while the vote of thanks was delivered by DPO Peren, I. Tsungrosongla Ao.
