The full text is as follows:

 “As regard the total number of COVID-19 cases detected today, it is 33 cases- 9 in Kohima, 18 in Dimapur, 1 in Mokokchung, 1 in Peren and 4 in Mon. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 9,536.

Out of the 9,536 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 8,505. The active cases are 886 and there have been 44 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms 828 active cases are asymptomatic, 33 active cases are mild, 10 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 10 active cases are severe on oxygen, 2 active cases are critical without oxygen and 3 active cases are on ventilator.

Further, out of 9,536 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 4,082 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,681 cases of Returnees, 3,306 cases of Traced Contacts and 467 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 64,500 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 63,392 samples have been received. In addition, a total 34,540 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 34,526 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 4,644 samples have been tested.”
