The full text is as follows:

 

“Today, 14 samples tested positive for COVID-19. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 193. Out of this, the total active cases are 90, and 103 have recovered. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals. As per the severity of symptoms, all the 90 active cases are asymptomatic.

As per the distribution of the 193 positive cases by age, there are 4 cases between 0-17 years, 182 cases between 18-44 years, 5 cases between 45-64 years and 2 cases between 65-74 years. As per the distribution of gender, there are 124 males and 69 females.

Till date, a total of 7202 samples have been tested. The results of 6174 samples have been received and the results of 1028 samples are awaited. Out of the 7202 samples, 4569 samples have been received at the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), and till today, a total of 3910 samples have been tested.

 A total of 7883 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.

All the persons in the State, age 16 years and above, including frontline workers are requested to participate in the online survey conducted by the Department of Health & Family Welfare, to assess the mental health status of people in the State during the COVID-19 pandemic. One may participate by going to the Department’s website, nagahealth.nagaland.gov.in. The timeline for the survey is till the 30th of June 2020.
