“A total of ­119 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 20 in Kohima, 90 in Dimapur, 5 in Mon and 4 in Tuensang. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 8,139.

Out of the 8,139 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 6,360. The active cases are 1,682 and there have been 22 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,596 active cases are asymptomatic, 64 active cases are mild, 16 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 3 active cases are severe on oxygen and 3 active cases are on ventilator.

Further, out of 8,139 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 3,613 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,617 cases of Returnees 2,512 cases of Traced Contacts and 397 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 58,444 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 57,441 samples have been received. In addition, a total 32,148 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 32,102 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 3,346 samples have been tested.”
