The Full Text is as Follows:

 

“A total of 32 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today and the total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 3,784. Active surveillance and contact tracing is also in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Out of the 3,784 positive cases, the total active cases are 1,031 and there are 8 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,015 active cases are asymptomatic, 15 active cases are mild and 1 active case is moderate.

Further, out of the 3,784 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are 1,622 cases of Armed Forces, 1,222 cases of Returnees, 260 cases of Frontline Workers and 680 cases of Traced Contacts.

A total of 35,979 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 35,371 samples have been received. In addition, a total of 22,483 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat.

A total 1,203 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
