The full text is as follows :

“Today, a total of 31 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected, and the total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 2,688.

Out of the 2,688 positive cases, the total active cases are 1,785 and there are 7 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,782 active cases are asymptomatic, 1 active case is mild, and 2 active cases are moderate.

Further, out of the  2688 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 1,184 cases from Paramilitary/Military, 1,056 cases from Returnees, 189 cases from Frontline Workers, 205 cases are  Traced Contacts and 54 cases are of Others.

Till date, a total of 28,145 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 26,274 samples have been received. In addition, a total of 18,421 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat.

A total of 2,028 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
