CANSSEA CALLS ON CHIEF SECRETARY

The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees’ Association (CANSSEA) led by its President, Dr. Ilang met Chief Secretary, Nagaland J. Alam, IAS and submitted representation in his office chamber on the 9th of August 2021.

The Chief Secretary expressed his happiness on meeting the CANSSEA officials and called on them to work hand in hand with the Government. We can achieve much when we work together through mutual understanding, he stated and added that government employees are the back bone of the society and especially at the time of pandemic, one can do their bit by being present in their places of posting and helping the public whenever needed. The Chief Secretary also assured to look into the following representations that were submitted by the CANSSEA Officials viz:

1. Representation for Grant of DA/ADA to state Government Employees WEF 01-01-2020 to 30-06-2021.
2. Office memorandum for relaxation of qualifying years of service for promotion, regarding Revocation, Review/Modification of earlier OM’S.
3. The induction into IAS Cadre through promotion and selection for State Civil Service and other services, Rule of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules 1954; vis-à-vis Non SCS.
