The capacity building training for AHODs and senior officers, initiated by former Chief Secretary Dr. J Alam, IAS (Rtd), has successfully concluded at the Secretariat Conference Hall, Nagaland Civil Secretariat on 30th August 2025.
A total of 61 IAS, NCS, and Ex-Cadre Officers underwent the training, which was conducted over working Saturdays in two rounds.
The first batch of training was held on all working Saturdays from 31st May to 5th July, 2025, whereas the second phase was from 19th July to 30th August, 2025.
Topics for the training included Rules of Executive Business, Service matters, Service & Conduct Rules, Discipline & Appeal Rules, IT tools in Governance, Budget & Finance matters, Treasury, Accounts & Audit matters, Planning matters and Legal Aspects of Governance. Additionally, the training program for officers included other subject matters, sourcing external resource persons to provide expertise and insights to enhance the skills and knowledge of officers, promoting effective governance and leadership.
