In commemorating the 75th anniversary of Peren Township, a career guidance cum orientation program was held at Peren Town Hall on 30th April 2022 with Henok Buchem, NCS, Secretary, SSB, Lt. Col. Atong Konyak, EAC Peren, Er. Seyievilie Pfukri & Anirban Mukherjee, Operational Manager India & International Emporium Skill Training Institute as the resource persons.

Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences, Dr Ilang who also spoke on the occasion shared on how to become successful in life by advising the students community that every little effort can lead to a successful life. A PowerPoint presentation was also given by Lt. Col. Atong Konyak and EAC Peren, Seyievilie on National Defence Academy (NDA), Combined Defence Service Exam (CBSE) and Technical professionalism etc. An entrepreneurship on students was presented by Ididaule Ngia, Asia's Youngest Diamond Director, Oriflame. Note of gratitude was delivered by ADC Peren, Keyirangding Hegui, NCS.

More than 300 students from Government Higher Secondary School, Peren; Baptist Higher Secondary School, Peren; All Saints Higher Secondary School, Peren and Government College, Peren attended the program. The program was chaired by Ngautube, President, Peren Town Youth Organization.
