Celebration of Bijlee Mahotsav under the theme 'Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya' Power@2047 was held at Council Hall, Kusong village under Noklak District on 28th July 2022 with Deputy Commissioner Noklak, Hiazu Meru.

Meru elaborated on the responsibility of the rural people and advised them to spread awareness about the usage of electricity, billing, energy efficiency, etc. DC requested the consumers to pay electricity bills on time. 

In his address, Er. N. Vantsso Kithan, District Nodal Officer & NEEPCO Ltd. Doyang delivered the keynote address. Beneficiary's testimony was given by T. Chongkhem and a special cultural item was presented by K. Laam and friends. A drama was performed by Kusong Village Youth. 

The program was chaired by Er. Lipok Meren, JE Power Department Tuensang while Head GB Kusong village Ngon delivered the welcome address. 

Films on Universal Household Electrification, Village Electrification, Distribution System Strengthening, Capacity Addition, One Nation Grid, Renewable energy, and Consumer Rights were also screened during the occasion.
