"Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya" power @ 2047, Bijlee Mahotsav was held at Council hall Tseminyu village on 28th July 2022 with, Advisor, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services and Women Resources Development R. Khing as chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, R.Khing appraised the people on the usefulness of power in our day to day activities. Welcome address was delivered Er. M. Shitoi, Manager (C) NEEPCO Ltd Doyang.

As part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' to celebrate 75th years of India independence, the Ministry of Power in association with Power department/NEEPCO/and district administration organised a Bijlee Mahotsav in Tseminyu. The Bijlee Mahotsav was used as a platform to celebrate the collaboration between the state and the central governments and highlighted the key achievements of the power sector.

Short speech was also given by Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu, Dr.Zasekuolie Chusi IAS. The programme was chaired by Longasen Lotha Additional Deputy Commissioner Tseminyu.
