The Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, V. Shashank Shekhar, IAS along with a team of senior officers from the Chief Electoral Officer’s Office held a series of review meetings with the DEO, ERO and EROS, Recognised/Registered political party representatives, prominent Civil Society Organizations/NGOs and BLO Supervisors and BLOs of Kohima district on 10th November, 2021 at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner, Kohima.

During the meetings, various issues pertaining to the ongoing Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Roll w.r.t 01.01.2022 as the qualifying date including issues pertaining to preparing and maintaining an accurate and clean electoral roll, different constraints and issues faced by the election machinery, ensuring proper implementation of the various Election Commission of India’s instructions etc. were discussed.
