The festival creates an importance in rekindling of the relationship between parents and their married daughters, between brothers and sisters. On this day the families of parents, brothers and maternal uncles prepare their best food and send it to the family of their daughters, sisters, niece which is called Chakuangpun ncham and in return the woman’s family send their best food, rice beer and pickle called Tetam of their preparation to the house of her parents brother and uncles. After the high priest declares the completion of all the arrangement and lifts all prohibitions imposed, the folks of the village irrespectively of men and women are free from all bindings and they start feasting till the end of the festival.
