As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration, Child Rights Week was organised by the District Child Protection Unit Peren, Department of Social Welfare, under the theme "Promotion of Legal Adoption". The week-long celebration started on 14th November and will continue till 20th November 2021.

On 16th November, a children marathon run for child rights was held. Topics such as "Child Rights and Human Rights" and "Stand up for Child Rights" marked the celebration.
